Screenwriter Charle s Edward Pogue was a featured interview back in April of 2001 on a popular Los Angeles radio show called Mike Hodel's Hour 25. The show is now available on the internet at www.hour25online.com.
Pogue discusses Psycho III and the original intent for the ending. He even mentions his ideas for Psycho IV which were rejected by Universal Pictures. Pogue cites the great experience of working with director / star Anthony Perkins. Creative resolution of differences was the hallmark of the production. The two wanted the story to be like the original Psycho. The studio wanted more blood. Listen to the audio clip below!
