'THE PSYCHO LEGACY' is an independently produced documentary project, which will chronicle the entire PSYCHO franchise - including the original movie, the sequels, the TV movies, the Robert Bloch novels and the Innovation comic books. It's meant to examine and look at the complete history of a pop culture icon. Norman Bates. And more importantly... Mother.

Interviews include several people involved in the making of all the PSYCHO films, as well as various professionals currently in the horror industry whom were inspired by PSYCHO and it's sequels. The object of the film (Being produced by ICONS OF FRIGHT co-creator Robg.) is to both reflect and remind people that the PSYCHO films have their set place in horror history and are still relevant and loved by genre fans of today.

I was inspired to start this documentary for a number of reasons. The main one being a lack of one. For me, and I'm sure plenty of other genre fans out there around my age, I grew up watching repeat screenings of Psycho II, III and IV on cable and those movies always had such an impact on me. I will cover the original movie, but there's already so much material out there about Hitchcock's PSYCHO. I'm really interested in answering all the burning questions fans have had through out the years about the sequels. And I can safely say that I have already uncovered stories from the filmmakers that no one has ever heard.

Featured interviews we can definitely expect to see include Mick Garris (Director of Psycho IV: The Beginning), Tom Holland (Writer of Psycho II), Lee Garlington (Myrna of Psycho II & III) & Katt Shea (Patsy in Psycho III). I'm constantly in contact with people about taking part, and I'm surprised by how many current horror filmmakers have taken an interest and already spoken on camera about their love of the Psycho films. To me, that's been some of the best stuff I've gotten so far. And I can't wait to share it with fellow fans.
